Please don't murder me for the corny title lol.

Basically, I'm done with exams, so I went home early. However, instead of resting, I decided to go visit with some of my high school teachers and spent the entire school day at my high school. It's so great to get in contact with your old teachers. There's so much to say and so much to be thankful for. I've also gotten some confidence back which I lost in college (it's really rather depressing to not be confident in yourself...) Plus, I have a lot of friends who are still in high school. In particular, I spent a lot of time talking with some science teachers, my orchestra teacher, my calculus teacher, and my newspaper teacher. Everyone had such exciting news! My old English teacher finally had her baby! My newspaper teacher is getting married and she wants me to play at her wedding! ~~They're killing block scheduling!~~ ... Oh wait that's not good =/ I also saw a copy of the most recent Madison newspaper. I'm not sure how I feel since I'm not helping with it anymore (I really miss newspaper), but it looks pretty good!

In other news, I think I'll finally get around to continue reading Tsubasa in the three weeks I'm off. I need something to do so XD digitalrewind's Tamers season is about to draw to a close too. I'm so sad :( I think we only have the movie left. But yes, I'm gonna call it a night because I've been up since 7 this morning >.> Bye guys!

Lol I think this college thing is getting to me

Bad or good? You decide XD Yesterday, I had my first batch of finals, but amazingly, I wasn't tired after that. I just really wanted to do something fun. So, I ~~went clubbing~~ NOT! lol. We actually just went to the movies... at 12:15 at night XD We watched The Princess and the Frog and it was really cute and funny. We got back around 2. Then I showered and got ready to sleep, but instead of going to sleep... I played video games. We played Super Smash Brothers Brawl... until 4 in the morning. XD After that, I really went to sleep and then I've been working on my Engineering take home final all day after that. I'm about to go do some more work, but I wanted to comment on something COMPLETELY unrelated.

... Darker Than Black is pretty good. ^^;;; After watching Code Geass, I think I got "toughened up" to gore, so the gore in Darker Than Black didn't bother me as much anymore. Once you get past that hurdle, the show's pretty darn interesting XD I finished the first season and I'm going to start on the second one either today or tomorrow.

Gonna go get some dinner right now. I'm kind of tired, so I'll probably go to sleep early too. See you guys later!

P.S. Oh and Ness is an awesome character to play in Brawl once you start compensating for the lag in his smash attacks. It actually catches a lot of people off guard too xD

I really don't have it that bad, but my roommate does so many things which irritate me. The latest incident is actually a repeat of what caused the "moving crisis." Basically, he told me to not tell anyone where he for the next week because two boys wanted him to help them on the take-home final exam, which would be cheating. He said he would rather avoid them altogether rather than tell them that he can't help him because of the rules. He's afraid of being considered "that guy... you know, that guy who follows the rules too closely" ...

Seriously? We're talking about academic integrity here. DEAR GOD! The answer's black and white. You can't help them. They know that; they just want to see if you care. *headdesk* If he would just tell them straight-up everything would be fine. It's not like the two guys are people who would hold it against him, but nooooooooooo. He has to drag me into it (it is albeit a tiny role, but since something similar of different proportions happened before, this kind of ticks me off more than it should)

I feel so tired. I think I might call it a night early, but I want to at least finish my mini-essay before I go. Bye guys!

Buono + S/mileage = Win!

Okay so today sucked because it was not only cold but rainy. Hello December; you made too bold of an entrance XD Furthermore, I was carrying my art project through the rain. LAAAAAAAAAME.

Okay but after that today became AWESOME because Buono's full PV for Bravo Bravo and S/mileage's full audio for Sukichan came out. I consider myself a pretty hardcore fan of Buono. I've loved everything they've produced... ever XD Bravo Bravo is cool, but there's not really anything I latch onto unfortunately. It may grow on me, but it's not my favorite Buono song. Don't get me wrong, it's a very good song! Buono always produces good songs, but I'm not that drawn to this song. It seems somewhat generic-ish and a desperate attempt to redirect Buono back to harder rock. And strangely, Miyabi's solo was a little weird o_O Miyabi usually sounds amazing. Ironically, my tastes always seem to be the polar opposite of H!P communities like Hello Online. They adore Bravo Bravo XD Still a solid song by my favorite group <3

Sukichan, on the other hand, is kind of outshining Bravo Bravo from my perspective. Maybe the Bravo Bravo wait was way too long and Sukichan is just passing, but I am absolutely ADORING Sukichan. Oh and S/mileage debut Spring 2010! 8D

My fandoms are Morning Musume, Digimon, and Dark Cloud

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Morning Musume: I still blame moon_fox for pulling me into this fandom lol. At first, I thought Momusu was really strange, but if you spend just 30 minutes watching one of their videos, you start to get pulled in. I really think this is how all of Tsunku's Hello Project groups function. The more you learn about the groups and its singers, the more you like them. Anyways getting back on topic lol, moon_fox gave me the Kago Ai aquarium AHHHHH video to look at a year ago and loved it.
Digimon: I've been a fan of this show since the Dub appeared on FoxKids. I LOVED the puns and quirks of the dub, and recently, I've started to love the depth and development of the original Japanese series.
Dark Cloud: First PS2 game I owned and the first RPG I've ever owned (I count Zelda games as more adventure). What can I say, it totally pwns! Obviously it's a little outdated these days, but it still is a decent game.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Morning Musume: I really hope I eventually move on because I don't want to be known as the American Wota, but as of right now, I am still absolutely adore them so there's no sign of that happening anytime soon lol.
Digimon: If new Digimon seasons keep coming out, I will most likely stay. There's so much nostalgia with this series.
Dark Cloud: Probably not. I think I've already moved on somewhat and given up that Level 5 will ever crank out a Dark Cloud 3 (Rogue Galaxy was decent but on a different dynamic than Dark Cloud).

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Morning Musume: I'm assuming songs lol. Do It! Now, As for One Day, Naichau Kamo, Nanchatte Renai. In retrospect, those song are very similar to each other. I never noticed that XD
Digimon: Adventure Sora/Jyou vs. Bakemon, 02 Hikari/Takeru Dark Ocean episode, 02 Patamon evolves to Angemon for the 1st time of the season and Daisuke's reaction to it XD, Frontier Ranamon vs. Zoe (never watched the Japanese...).
Dark Cloud: ... Favorite level? Uhh Butterfly Woods from DC2 and the ocean town thingy from DC1

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Morning Musume: Yes. Graphics and discussion. Fanfiction would just be... odd XD
Digimon: Yep. Graphics, discussion, and roleplaying (well technically I don't RP Digimon anymore, but I would love to if I get the chance and the time).
Dark Cloud: Not... really. Since the games are so old, good graphics are pretty hard to get and there's no new news for this fandom.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Morning Musume: YES! Their popularity isn't as great as before in Japan, but I think their popularity in America is growing.
Digimon: Yep! Seriously it's NOT a Pokemon rip-off and the dubs are made of win.
Dark Cloud: It's not for everyone, but RPG lovers should give it a try. I admit, the repetition is annoying sometimes, but I love the story and the georama, no matter how shallow they are XD

Honestly, I'm starting to become a bigger fan of the H!P kids units than Morning Musume, but I love the Big 3 equally at the moment (but they all fail compared to my love for Buono and previously W XD) Oh and new Shugo Chara episode was so cute. Rima and Nadeshiko lol.

Roommate quirks... COMING UP! XD Yeah I have a few minutes, so why not?

So uhh... my roommate (ex- now because he switched) is a chicken when it comes to scary stuff. XD I thought I was bad? No lol. He screams like an 8 year old girl whenever he gets scared, so a lot of his friends love to surprise him. We SO need to record him in the act with a webcam or something. It's so funny xD

My new roommate talks in his sleep at night. It's really weird because you can have a full conversation with him, and he doesn't remember it in the morning. He seems coherent during the conversation though. It just kind of bothers me when he randomly does it, because it wakes me up at night sometimes. He also seems to have a fetish for sanitation... to the MAX! He's always washing his hands or using hand sanitizer, and just yesterday when he came back from his trip home, he brought a can of Lysol and was spraying EVERYTHING in the room X_X I like to keep clean too, but it's kind of scary the degree he takes it to lol. Oh and he's a bad singer XD

And on a side note... s/mileage's 3rd indies single preview sounds SO good! It's so much more energetic than their first two indies singles. I can't wait for the full version ^_^

Omg the Hello Project Summer concert coming out on DVD totally made my day <3

OMG I've been waiting for this to come out for FOREVER. Lots of good things and bad things about this concert. Let's start with the good!

At this point, I am a fan of EVERY active act in Hello Project. So, I was VERY MUCH anticipating this concert. Guardians 4, Buono's live My Boy, awesome Morning Musume songs, newly a fan of C-ute and Berryz Koubou, the new shuffles, s/mileage, AHHH there's so much awesome contained within XD Personally, I thought Morning Musume sounded AMAZING. That stage was seriously BUILT for Nanchatte Renai. It's not that they climbed the stairs a lot and stuff, but rather the backdrop and the lightning fit Nanchatte Renai SO well. Personal camera splits throughout the concert of the main screen was really nice though :)

Good shuffles imo were Zoku v-u-den and Aa! (even though I am a little bitter that it's just Miyabi+Airi AGAIN, I have to admit they sounded great with Akari). Tanpopo # was pretty good. Their song + outfits seemed a little weird, but they sound amazing with that song. Shin Minimoni I was really excited for, but I kind of had the same reaction as the audience when I heard Minimoni Jankenpyon playing. I was just like, "... Wait... that's not..." but they did a great job nonetheless!

I think because of the anticipation though, I was a little let down XD I know it's just the wonderful hearts now, but I was hoping for a giant arena. Maybe the winter one will have a giant arena? I'm not sure, but those concerts were always a lot more exciting and felt, on the whole, much less crowded. Of course that does create problems like we saw in H!P winter 09 where Berryz Koubou couldn't make it to the platform on time, but that's usually not that big of a deal.

Major problem though, 5 person C-ute. If this is what C-ute sounds like with only 5 people, I'm a little worried. They really sound so... whiny right now in their unisons O_o They used to get such a full sound with all 7 people. In fact, that's what I considered their edge over Berryz. I didn't know Mai and Kanna pulled so much in that factor. Even Tokaikko Junjou sounded really weak... That especially makes me worried since Erika is leaving.

Another bad thing... the new Pucchimoni O_O None of them seem to have very strong voices. I know Saki and Mano don't have that edgy voice the original Pucchimoni girls have, but it made Pucchimoni seem more cute than I think they should be.

Buono "My Boy" live wasn't bad by any means, but I think I was anticipating it WAY too much because I felt kind of let down, by both the girls and the audience. Usually the group-audience interaction for Buono is SO amazing but it went down QUITE a few notches since the winter concert and ESPECIALLY from Hybrid Punch.

High King has such great singers in the group, but Maeda Yuuka really is the weakest link of the group by far, despite probably being one of, if not, the strongest singer in s/mileage. Her voice sticks out SO much. I never even noticed this in the 2008 summer concert with High King. Still, I love her Kioku no Meiro a lot (even if she did kind of mess it up in the 2008 live ^^;;; )

I haven't listened to any of the songs where all of H!P sings together except the beginning two, so I can't really pass judgement on that yet... but Koharu's high note at the beginning was =DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Overall, good concert. Very enjoyable to the H!P fan. For those who aren't, I would just suggest watching Morning Musume's Nanchatte Renai and perhaps Shouganai Yume Obitou (spelling?) because it's right afterwards. I think those are the performances of the concert, despite intonation mistakes here and there. After that, if you're feeling ambitious, watch Buono's My Boy. Buono just flat out has awesome songs maybe they're tired or something because their voices seem weaker than usual. I know they probably used auto-tune at their hybrid punch concert though

And NON-H!P stuff. RPs... RIGHT I NEED TO GO CHECK TAGS XP Test Thursday. Orchestra concert Thursday. Scholarship banquet Thursday. Orchestra dress rehearsal Wednesday.... I think you guys get the trend though XD

Yaaaaaaaaaay I got a 74/80 on my Calculus III midterm. That is an A, the highest rank you can get on that test. I'm so proud! All of that studying really payed off! I got an 88 on my History of China midterm or a B+. There's room for improvement, but that's not too bad at all! In Chinese, we don't have a midterm, but I did get a 96 on my chapter test :) That's much better than the 86 I got on my first chapter test. Honestly, I might get a B in engineering for this semester, as I didn't remember everything I should have on my midterm, but I'll live lol. I work hard to get good grades, but I can't let getting a single B ruin my whole mentality. Otherwise, I would have given on my my Calc class when I got a 70 on my first quiz. Instead, I used that as inspiration to work harder, and look at the results! PLUS, my Calc test score is going to replace that low quiz grade :) I am a little bummed that we're getting SO much homework in Chinese though.

RP wise, I'm going to use the next two weeks as a trial. If I can keep up with damned and parameter_rpg (the two RPs I really want to stay in), I will stay and work through it. If not, I will have to drop one or the other or both.

Shugo Chara Party... *facepalm* The actual anime episode is so short, nothing can get done. Come on, we don't need it dragged out to 200 episodes. We just need high quality-filled episodes. CCS was a prime example of that. Only 70 (hah only lol) episodes but it was a REALLY good anime for everyone. No one felt like it had to be unnecessarily extended to complete with Sailor Moon and Naruto. Code Geass is pretty cool still. Lelouch and Suzaku just fought together against the fake Japanese rebellion and I was like "AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW"

Berryz Kobo's Ryuusei Boy is a lot better than the A-side in my opinion. Of course, my opinions are extremely fickle, so that might change once I see the A-side PV. Can't wait to hear the full versions of both! I'm listening to the solo events for the Berryz members, and it seems like none of them can sing slow songs well XD I thought Miyabi would PWN at that, but her Vanishing Point solo sounded... weak? I think Berryz must have been really tired when they did that event. I mean they went on a 4-5 month hiatus after their 20th single. Right? Well Momoko sang Hare Ame Nochi Suki, but she couldn't keep her voice from shaking. She sounded ESPECIALLY good with the song Sakura Chirari though :) That song actually fits her voice a lot better than Gag100.

Moving Forward

Literary present. Wow I had NO idea that existed. Maybe that's why I never did so well on AP exams XD So anyways, I've spent this past week revising my essay for freshman seminar a million times. And now... I am SO proud of the result XD I have no idea what grade this will yield, but yeah I learned a lot when it comes to writing literature analysis, I've learned a lot about the editing process, and I've learned that most BS that works in high school fails in college LOL. Whatever grade I get (assuming it's passing XD), I think I can be happy and proud of myself.

Orchestra is fun. I love the songs and I've become close friends with two viola players. However, I feel kind of stuck. I've been practicing so hard to make sure that when I play at rehearsals, it's as close to perfect as possible. Yet, when I look around, especially at my section, it seems like the entire section doesn't practice enough. That kind of makes me feel frustrated because I have to follow the leaders sitting in front of me (4 people) even if I'm sure they're wrong. It's just not cool, but other than that, it's really fun! Everyone's really friendly. We have some people that talk a lot, but I guess that's a given.

Yay Mano Erina! She got topped the Oricon Chart at #1 for a day. I feel like everyone in Hello Project EXCEPT Berryz Kobou is dishing out a lot of consecutive songs. I wonder if the fanbase will be able to keep up.

Code Geass is SO interesting at the moment. I'm at Episode 16-ish of the 1st season and I love how all the people tie together and how the truth is starting to get unraveled.

And my suite/roommates want me to think about the whole room thing and give an answer on Friday. I'm 95% sure I will say no, but that 5% is empathizing with that suitemate who came and talked with me individually. Right now, I'm still at the point where I'm saying no, but we'll have to see what changes over the next couple days (hopefully nothing because I really want my personal space XD)

Assertion

When it comes to sharing a room with someone, you have to be assertive in what you're comfortable with right? Personally, I feel like I'm being pressured to do something I don't want because someone else can't be assertive enough.

Basically, two rooms are connected by the room and called a suite. My roommate and someone from the other suite like to sleep late (as in 3AM late... on a school night) and the other guy from the other suite and I like to sleep early (for good reason, as I have an 8:30 class everyday) and have a quiet study room. I always go to sleep first so I kick everyone out of my room who's being loud when I want to sleep. The problem is, they go into the other room and prevent the other guy from sleeping. Personally, I think he just needs to be assertive and say, "Hey, I want to sleep. If you guys want to continue, take it down to the lounge" or something to that extent. But, instead he wants to remodel the rooms and make one room a sleep/study room and the other a game room.

I really don't like this idea. I want my own personal space and technically we're not allowed to do that. However, the other three are dead serious and want this. I've made it clear that I don't want that to happen, but then the other guy came and talked to me privately and was like "Hey man, just think about it. I really really need this." WTF! Be assertive to the other people, not me. I told him that he should tell them what he thinks when he needs to sleep instead of partaking in remodeling project, but he says he doesn't want to come off badly and cites the "Do unto other how you want to be treated" rule as why he doesn't want to. It's part of his "religion." Yeah I know it is, but guilt trip to the max anyone? But seriously, what is he doing? He's treating me in a way I doubt he'd want to be treated.

So that's the story. Everyone wants me to consent, but I don't want to. Now I'm getting a guilt trip to go along with it. This is lame. Beyond lame. Someone save me please.

P.S. Positive stuff will come eventually. It's not like there's nothing positive, but I like to get this stuff off my chest.

Conclusions and Disappointments and Excitement?

... My journal has been full of negativity lately, hasn't it? Maybe I should take another whack at that positive meme in the near future.

So basically, I get the feeling that I should drop from all my RPs. Those of you who have me on IM have probably realized that I can barely even get online anymore, let alone RP. Yet, I don't want to drop from any of my RPs as they are the best RPs in the world T_T So you see I'm in quite a predicament.

New Shugo Chara... Ending to Shugo Chara Dokki was great! Shugo Chara Party... is just awful to be blunt. There's so much stuff in it that's not really needed. I know they have to experiment to bring freshness to the series, but from my perspective, this really really failed. Not only that, all of the Shugo Chara groups have disappointed me. Seriously, it makes me so sad to admit that I really don't like Buono's song... Guardians 4 was doing so well too. Omakase Guardians and School Days were great from my perspective. Party Time and Bravo... aren't. I'm so disappointed. Maybe it will grow on me, but as an avid Buono/Guardians 4/Shugo Chara fan waiting in anticipation, this really didn't fulfill. It seems like they want Buono to travel back in time to the very first single because it's like another attempt at that style, except the PV looks kind of cheap in all honesty. I... just don't know. I'll keep watching for a couple episodes, but this might divert me away T_T

In other news, Morning Musume's 41st single "Kimagure Princess" has KAMEI ERI as a LEAD SINGER! WHOOO I am so excited about that! She's not the best singer in the group, but I'm glad she's finally getting her turn in the spotlight :) She did of course have some more exposure in Nanchatte Renai than before, but never, from my recollection, has she had more lines than Tanaka Reina. I do like Reina as well though so I can't wait to see what this experiment will lead the group towards.

Edit: Buono's Bravo Bravo is already growing on me. I think the part that's turning me off is the cheerleading in the video XD It makes it look so cheap. If they were into their rocker outfits the entire time, it probably would be less weird. So I should probably just not watch the full PV as I listen to it lol.

Who your real friends are? It sounds so simple, but for some reason I find it so hard. Perhaps it's because I get offended pretty easily, but I feel so out of the loop, like I'm in a limbo with no friends who are close. I know a lot of people and I consider several of them friends, but it always feels like I'm being kept at a distance, perhaps even due to myself. I don't turn everything into a sex joke like the guys, and without history, friendship with girls can never seem to turn close. Really I didn't notice this until one of my friends dissed coming to dinner with me because someone else wasn't going... All of a sudden, he said he wasn't hungry anymore when he originally wanted to eat as well. My college experience has been a roller coaster. High school was so stable, but in college, I swing from extreme happiness to extreme sadness. If that's how the real world is, how am I supposed to fit into places? It's so discouraging. I know I can get through it and everything will be all right, but at this instant, I feel so sad and lost.

And good-bye Koharu. You weren't anywhere close to my favorite (in fact she might be my least favorite), but Morning Musume just won't be the same without you.

College Blessings

So last night, I had kind of a bad night. I was pretty down because I thought I offended one of my friends, and apparently that came off as being rude to other people because I didn't say hi energetically enough. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeah being told that I'm acting rude makes me pretty upset because I strive to be as polite as possible. Anyways, I found a nice, secluded place to retreat to and did some singing and dancing to help raise my spirits. I haven't been able to do that in a while because I'm so embarrassed to do so in public, considering my HUMONGOUS Hello! Project obsession dominating what I love to do XD Still felt kind of down afterwards, but I did feel a little better.

Yet today, has been an FANTASTIC day! I woke up and was told by one of my new friends that she really trusts me during breakfast (I really trust her too)! :) Afterwards, I went to History of China which was a little more interesting today, and Fourth Year Chinese for the first time! I was supposed to go Friday, but I had a little brain fart. At any rate, I LOVE that class. Sure, I can't recognize as many words as the prodigy guy next to me, but I haven't been able to speak and practice Chinese in so long either. Then, I proceeded to the electronics lab to clench my work-study job as an engineering electronics shop assistant! I've been considering electrical engineering for a while, so this should help me decide. Even if electrical engineering isn't for me though, I'm still dorkishly excited about learning how all that works XD I'll be working Wednesdays and Fridays from 11-4.

Oh but where it turns really good is that the person who I came across as rude to saw me again today. I gave her an energetic hello and she greeted me back much more friendlier and less demanding. It made me feel so good on the inside!

In Physics lab, we have a really really nice teacher and I met another girl (violist in fact!!!) who is also going to be in the Trinity Symphony Orchestra! =D Catherine! (spelling?) Anyways she's pretty nice too, and that means I'll have someone else to talk to during orchestra. She even lives in the same residence hall as I do! Orchestra starts this Thursday.

And finally, I want to mention reading seminar because that's what's been occupying most of my time (60-80 pages over two days X_X). Right now, I'm reading Frankenstein, which I've read before. However, I'm finding it much more interesting the second time around! I'm guessing it's because I already know the general happenings and can make connections/anticipate things. At the same time though, I don't really remember a lot of the novel, since I read it 4 years ago and it didn't make much sense to me back then.

Not to be mistaken as ungrateful, I appreciate them raising me, helping me pay for college, etc. but after a certain point (getting texts from mom saying "Please call me" daily), I just want to tear my hair out. ESPECIALLY since whenever she calls, she makes me depressed with her doom "YOUR GPA WILL DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE" or stressed out with stuff like this. Thank you for caring, but AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH xinfinity.

A period of extended free time that's not 1 AM XD. Well, I've picked out a tentative schedule with my academic adviser... and I'm slightly worried >.> Because of AP exams, my schedule is in dysfunctional. Seriously. I'm actually only taking 7 classes, but that's 18 hours total... Plus I think I need to do federal work study. That's a pretty intensive schedule. Not only that, but I have a block of 4 classes in a row on Tues/Thurs because they're only offered then. Thanks ~~Career Point~~ Collegeboard AP exams for killing me left-handedly XD

There are some positives though! Apparently I tested out of the first 3 years of Chinese *shrugs* Who knew? I'll be in Fourth Year Chinese... ohhhhh snap. ~~My new roommate/suitemates are rubbing off on me XD~~ I was sure I'd test out of first year, but I thought I'd only make it to second year. Chinese only goes up to Fifth Year Chinese so that means I've almost completed the program? O_o Anyways so that was unexpectedly pleasant. I will have plenty of practice with Chinese though, as upper level classes are ONLY taught in that language.

And yeah. Orientation is great. The university community is great. My roommate/suitemates are nice, although the former stays up REALLY late. I'm learning to sleep with his lamp light on, which is kind of weird for a person who's always had his own room and slept in the dark XD

Classes start this Thursday, so hiatus in my RPs will more than likely have to be extended, but I'll see if I can adjust well enough during this week though.

Good job Morning Musume fans! Nanchatte Renai wasn't able to clench #1 at Oricon, but they were able to claim #2 behind Ayumi Hamasaki (which is pretty good, considering her popularity). However, what I'm excited about is that the week 1 sales amounted to 54,973. The last time they had first week sales anywhere close to that was 2 years ago with Kanashimi Twilight and the last time they had first week sales higher than that was 4 years ago with Koharu's Iroppoi Jirettai debut! I hope total sales continue to rise and impress =D

Dre was mean and gave me Z. I barely have any Z's in my music collection, so here's what I scrounged up.

Zansho Omimai Moshiagemasu - Suzuki Airi
→ Japanese song and B-side to C-ute's Shochuu Omimai Moshiagemasu. It's a nice ballad, but nothing about it stands out to me, even though I generally like hearing Airi sing.
Zuei Chang De Dian Ying - Jay Chou
→ Chinese song in Jay Chou's On the Run album. It translates to "The Longest Movie" in English. Another ballad which I actually find nicer to listen to than Airi's.
Zhu Lin Shen Chu - Wang Lee Hom
→ Chinese song in Wang Lee Hom's Shanri-la. It translates to "Bamboo Forest" and is a rap/hip-hop song, I think. I'm not really sure. It's kind of hard for me to peg his songs in a genre XD If you can read traditional chinese, this is the KTV version so you can sing along =D
Zelmite Mines - Dark Cloud 2 OST
→ SEE LOOK WHAT YOU'RE MAKING ME DO DRE XD Finding obscure songs I don't listen to anymore. It's actually not a bad track. The bassoon line is rather catchy. (Or is it the English horn? I always have trouble telling apart band instruments...)

We borrowed The Girl Who Leapt Through Time from the library, so I wasn't expecting much from it. It's a rather lengthy anime film, but by the end of it, I was in LOVE with it. It actually seems a lot like Spirited Away in retrospect. Maybe that's why I like it so much. Anyways, if you guys see it at your library or video rental store, go watch it. The middle does drag a bit, but I thought the rest of the movie more than made up for it (including the great songs by Oku Hanako). The ending theme is perfect for the movie. AHHHHH so squealish! lol

And I will actually talk about more stuff in my next entry cause it's getting kind of late...

Code Geass + College Preparations

Yay new anime is always fun to watch. From the_demon_yuber's suggestion, I've starting watching Code Geass. It definitely harkens closer to the Darker Than Black side of anime that I've seen, a far cry from my usual Cardcaptor Sakura and Shugo Chara, but it's good. I've watched the first 5 episodes, and it's kept my interest pretty well. I'm just like "Noooooooooo" that Suzaku and Leleuch (spelling?) are on opposite sides though. I think if I was in their shoes, I would've tried Suzaku's approach. And omg now they're in the same school. That's going to get kind of interesting.

I'm coming up on my last week of summer vacation. I move into my college dorm August 21st. Bah so excited/anxious at the same time. I might have to hiatus from all the RPs I'm in during that time because orientation will keep me busy and I need to see what I can handle while in college classes. That means I'll definitely be missing 4th shift at damned and possibly Dinner/beginning of Nightshift, and I might need the Parameter mods the handle the Timeline one week (that or they have to wait until I get back. Either works XD). We'll have to see. NEEEEEEEEEERVES. XP That also means I might miss a bit of digitalrewind TAMERS *hugs*

Guardians 4 PV should be coming out sometime this week. Not as excited as with Buono, but I support all Hello Project groups <3 (Except Koharu and MilkyWay... I haven't actually given them a chance because I hear enough Koharu from Morning Musume XP)

Take It Easy~

Yes! Buono's new PV finally came out! The dance is kind of simple, but overall, I like the PV. It's really cute and just shows them having a good time lol. When I heard the full version of the song for the first time though, I was kind of iffy about it. The preview made it sound a lot better, or so I felt. That's kind of how I felt with My Boy too, but now that I've listened to it a few times, it's starting to grow on me. I just don't feel like the instrumental break in the middle was that necessary though =/ Furthermore, the song is out of my normal vocal range (it's too high for me to sing) so I probably can't sing along out loud without discomfort =/ It's funny though cause with My Boy, they steal a cake in the PV, so everytime I played My Boy, my mom said, "THEY'RE STEALING CAKE AGAIN?" That transferred over to Take it Easy too, and my mom now says, "The poor girls. They keep getting on and off the bus." XD I know I said I was gonna dump H!P stuff in my Dreamwidth but I don't really want to... I'll try not to flood your journals with H!P nonetheless XD

Oh and another great thing! Driver's license... GET!!! Yes I passed the test yesterday! *dance dance* I also got a letter in the mail about a $500/semester for 8 semesters scholarship so I'll be adding that to my financial aid letter soon =D

I'm doing well on the Tales of the Abyss replay. I've gotten Mieu Fire 2 and Mieu Wings, both of which I missed during my first playthrough. I've already surpassed my original file in playtime, and I only just finished the Tower of Rem.

Library volunteering is okay. I just had a bad day today though, as we had a daycare bring a busload of kids while I was trying to shelve books. Yeeeeeeeeeah that didn't work out too well. I couldn't really shelve while they were there, and they messed up the sections I had fixed within 5 minutes...

digitalrewind is helping me get back into the iconing mood. I've taken on the challenge of making icons for every episode we watch during Digimon Tamers, so I'll probably have a huge batch of Digimon icons to post at silverduet by the time that's done.

Driving Woes

No I did NOT crash my car lol. My dad took me driving for the first time today... and I think a lot of you guys can share my sentiment. Driving with your parents is NOT fun. It took me a long time to get used to my mom. Now my dad keeps telling me stuff I already know and chastising my driving. I know I'm a new driver but bah let me concentrate on driving and not focus on translating Chinese into English in my head. There are enough things to think about. ~~That and I don't understand how I can parallel park perfectly 10 times with my mom and then somehow I get like 1/10 with my dad~~. I hope I can stay calm and focus when I'm testing.

Engineering majors at Trinity get literally NO time to breathe. Their scheduling is so harsh. I might not be able to do the three electives I really wanted (Chinese, Orchestra, and Newspaper) =/ Well I will FIND a way to do orchestra... but no lessons I guess XD I passed the online alcohol course (thank god... that was pretty boring >.>). Last thing I need to do before the semester starts is take that Chemistry placement exam. I think I'm running out of time too. I better hurry o_O

Tales of the Abyss is really addictive. I'm on my first replay of the game and I love it all over again. FOF Transformations also make it really fun X3

Rewatched one of the first episodes of Shugo Chara today, and I just realized how dark Shugo Chara got the longer it went. The first arc with the original Guardians was all happy-friendly-YAY in contrast to the newer episodes' EMO-EMO-EMO! I love both aspects, but I just kind of like the originally happy-friendly-YAY better... you know?

Annnnd I think I'll leave it at that. Happy late Odaiba Day for Digimon fans =D

So I decided to replay Tales of the Abyss but I can't decide on what to buy in the grade shop, or if I want to buy anything at all. Half the fun is leveling up to learn the attack and stuff. What do you guys think?

So I got a nostalgia kick now that I've finished my college assignment and I want to revive xeno_battle and xenorating. Since the latter is less demanding, I've started with that. If I find myself with some extra free time in college, I'll do xeno_battle too but I don't want to overload myself, ya know?

Kevin... should be the final boss. Seriously. He's not THAT hard of a boss, but for some reason, he can pull off an attack that can KO all three of your characters at max health O_o I beat him the second time of course, but seeing that Game Over screen was kind of depressing XP

Annotated Bibliography finished *salute* I'm going to submit it tomorrow. No more worrying about that! Bwahahaha. Next on the list of things to worry about, taking the Chemistry Placement exam...

Another random topic switch. Have you non paid account people ever found an icon you just totally want on your journal, but you don't want to delete anything? Yeah I just got that today xD There are some icons that I don't like as much anymore, but I don't want to delete them because of nostalgia XD I might end up switching one out tomorrow though.

My left thumb REALLY hurts for some reason. I have no idea why, but it just does, which creates MAJOR problems when playing the viola. I've been letting it rest for a few days by not practicing but it hasn't gotten better yet. It's happened before too, so I'm a little worried =/ *hugs viola* I WANT TO KEEP ON PLAYING [/drama king] ^^;;;

Digimon Tamers is getting a lot better. I think the first episode in particular starts out REALLY slow, but it gets better around episode 3 onward. Or, maybe the shoujo factor is wearing off. IDK XD

Basically, I had posted that I was going to update Xeno Star with the new Xenosaga III section by the end of the week. I had a lot done, so I thought it'd be zip-zip done after an hour or something. WRONG. I totally forgot that Xenosaga III was the section with 50 pages of screenshots, all of which had to be edited. Xenosaga III playthrough is almost complete. It's weird though because I'm way over-leveled in this playthrough. I'm about 5 levels away from my master file's level and I still haven't finished all the secret bosses and the main story *is in Michtam right after Mary awakens*

Uhh I ran out of Shugo Chara episodes to watch. I'm so disappointed! I don't want to wait one week to see one episode >.> I love Nagi's new Shugo Chara. It's a perfect foil for him, so I want to seen more than just 2 episodes of it so far XP So, right now I've turned to rewatching Digimon Tamers with digitalrewind. It's not that I don't like Digimon Tamers. In fact, it's one of my favorite seasons, but it feels so bland after Shugo Chara I guess that's what I get for switching from Shoujo to Shounen right off the bat XD

I'm debating whether to replay Tales of the Abyss or Star Ocean III after I finish Xenosaga III. Anyone want to help me decide? XD

Translation: SUCCESS!!! Hakox level 5 isn't that hard. I am happy ~~and in retrospect crazy~~ to say that I have beaten level 5 and and thus the proud owner of Jr.'s Xenosaga III ultimate weapon! Now if only I had the patience to get 99 Sephirotic Canes so I can get Ziggy's >.> Anyone know a shortcut for that?

Also, I just noticed, but Nanchatte Renai dance shot outfits look JUST like black versions of MOMO's Episode III outfit =O

ZOMBIES and CHAINS

Lol two simultaneous plots have sneaked up and taken me by surprise XD Zombie plot at damned is pretty epic. Of course, Sakura is freaking at the moment, despite reuniting with her Yue/Touya/Fai ~~I'm surprised she hasn't said "HOEEEEEEEEE" yet XD~~. I am not sure what we're planning on doing, but I imagine our main objective is to find a safe-haven. And from Court's description... that's kind of unlikely to happen anytime soon...

Chaining plot at realityshifted is making me pretty excited too. Wyatt's going to be chained to a systematic drilling freak, the complete antithesis of Wyatt, so that's going to be pretty fun! MJ and I have already plotted out a lot of the details. I just realized that we forgot to pick what we're going to do first, but that's okay. I guess I'll have to catch MJ online tomorrow.

Shugo Shugo! OMG Ikuto *whack whack whack* YOU'RE SO STUPID XD I just watched the episode where Amu breaks Tadase's heart because Ikuto has been crashing in Amu's room. OMG it broke my heart.... ~~Yes I'm like a 10-year-old girl at heart >.>~~ Oh and for the record Eliza, I finally saw Amu go "HANYAAAAAAAAN!" at Tadase. Man, I'm almost done with the released Shugo Chara episodes. It kind of hit me once Omakase Guardians and My Boy became the themes, as those were only recently (like 3 months ago I believe) released by Guardians 4 and Buono. I'm going to miss it once it's over. =/

Man I hate that we have to read a nonfiction book for a summer reading. It's not a bad book by any means, but it's so... not appealing to me. I think I've been watching too much anime XD
